Space modifications must be managed in order to cost-effectively acheive our campus mission.
A space modification is a project that requires change to an existing room(s) to provide a better function for the end user. The projects can be small and require minimal changes; however many times the scope of work can require the project become a Minor Capital Project.
Projects that are over $35,000 and do not impact major building systems are considered Minor Capital Projects. These projects would ideally be initiated in January and their planning and approval would align with the budget approval process.
As the need for projects do not always coincide with the budget approval process, use the Request to Modify Space form to begin the development for planning the project and submit this form to email@example.com.
