The Office of Space, Capital Planning & Real Estate (SCPRE)
In our work, the SCPRE Office:
- Partners in the programming, design and construction of academic and non-academic buildings
- Consults and supports the Chancellor and Provost/Executive Vice Chancellor’s Office in the oversight and management of the University’s space inventory
- Consults and supports the faculty, Academic Senate and the Dean’s Council about all space related issues
- Assists and consults with the Office of the Registrar concerning instructional space
- Assists and consults with the CFO and Capital Finance to develop the campus capital plan and strategies for its implementation
- Provides database and analytical support for space management database
- Provides support for the implementation and administration of the project request process including outlining project scope and ROM budget estimation
- Is responsible for real estate transactions including licenses, leases and occupancy agreements and acquisition and disposition of property
